I'm designing a flip up window of sorts, but I'm being "extra" with it...
It's been too long since I was at uni, and I can't get my head around this without hours of trial and error.
Basically I want the two panels to be near parallel when the window is closed (for sealing purposes y'see). With about a 10-15mm gap with the seal fully squished.

When it's open, I want it to have usable access, let's say an upward angle of approximately 45 degrees, but the lower edge roughly in line with the top edge of the window bezel.

And finally, the mechanism.

Call it an arbitrary length of 100, so the lengths can be scaleable and ratios of one another, but basically the arm lengths and mounting hole distances are the critical bits.
I'll add a limit to the rams range of motion of ~125mm (although if you can get it within 75mm I don't have to buy more gas struts).
Go forth, and math! ____________________ Blue_SV650S wrote: it was a sh1te wheelie, but it proves that he can get it up in 3rd and can do angles. In summery, mattsprattuk is a gobby little sh1tebag, dopehead tw4t, but sadly for all of us, he probably isn't THAT full of sh1te!!
