If you bought it instore it should be easy to get a refund whilst the laptop is in their possesion and faulty. The decision to exchange is entirly up to the store management. If you have had a recurring fault then the product is simply not up to the standards required and not fit for the purpose which it is sold for. If the 4 faults are different and you cannot link them then you are gonnae have to brassneck it. Go into the store at the busiest time of day and demand to speak to the manager.Stand at the cashdesk and do not allow him/her to move you away from there.Speak in a loud and clear voice(so other customers can hear you)and keep very calm. Simply demand a replacement on a like for like basis and insist they return the faulty goods to the manufacturer to claim their own refund.Explain that you have no confidence whats so ever in their engineers ability to solve the problems and are very disapointed to find that they have 'bought out' the guarrantee from the manufacturer. Keep on discussing with said manager and do not be hurried.Also ask how he is going to compensate for the time you have been without the product.They will be so desperate to stop you putting other customers off that they will exchange.
If you paid by creditcard or finance then also contact them,they have an equal duty.Threaten trading standards,watchdog,local press etc if necessary.
I Worked in electrical retail for 7 years and believe me if you make enough of a fuss and keep bugging them they will exchange. ____________________ Fallen Angel "Nae sniffing my seat now!!!!! "
