From Todays County Press (17th March):
An advert calling for motorbikes and Scooters to get together on a Wednesday evening on Shanklin Esplanade has concerned town councillors.
Cllr John fleming said he thought the police should have a view on the venue, as would the IW Council's highways department, especially as speed restrictions were being put in here.

Once the clocks change the OH and I may just pop down there one Wednesday evening to see what its all about, any other Island riders gonna bother ?

Trust me Colin, the Isle of Wight is getting pathetic, wont be able to do a darn thing in a minute. Too many olds keep coming over here and retiring and dictating to us younger ones...grrr. Evil or Very Mad

Well since it was a nice evening we took a ride out to Shanklin sea front, was a good run for me, dont get much time to ride far. One or two bikers down there at the cafe, matey in the cafe reckons about 300 bikers get to gather there during the summer months, also on a Sunday morning which I didnt know about.
